Security at is tight. WordPress, which hosts the site, uses Akismet to weed out spam. WordPress itself will not spam you.

Everyone who comments is required to enter his or her email address so that I know where the comment is coming from. After you click “submit,” your comment and your email appear to you on the website, but not to anyone else. Only after I see the comment, will it be published so that it is visible to everyone else. At that time, the name you entered will appear with the comment, but not your email address.

However, I have not password protected because I want it to be as easy as possible to access. That means that anyone can read what we write here. Most people won’t bother because the material is irrelevant to their lives. People who wish to steal your identity will do so by gaining access to your social security or your credit card numbers, not by reading this website.

However, remember that this is a public site and comment appropriately.

If you wish to express a concern, ask a question, or otherwise speak to me directly, use the email, comments page, or phone. Thank you!
